Fall Colors

Stamps:

Liquid Amber by Rubber Stampede
Sweet Gum Branch by Impression Obsession
Skeleton Leaf by PSX
Fall stamp by Great Impressions

Supplies:

White card stock for stamping (4"x 5-1/4")
Folded half sheet of card stock for card (A-2 size 4-1/4" x 5-1/2")
Sponge or ColorBox Stylus Tool (used for applying ink)
ColorBox Cat's Eye or Petal Points pigment ink pads
Dye ink (Ranger Archival: Plum)
Rainbow dye ink pad (Kaleidacolor: Creole Spice)
Waxed paper
Frisket Film or Masking Paper
Glue or double stick tape

Crumple a sheet of waxed paper into a ball and lightly press onto Plum ink pad, then randomly apply to white card stock creating a kind of crackled pattern.

Apply pigment ink over the crackled background. Use yellows, deep reds, and blues to create a tapestry of color. Apply ink directly with the ink pad or use a cosmetic sponge as an applicator. (The ColorBox Stylus Tool is a perfect applicator for this technique)

Stamp Fall stamp onto a piece of Frisket Film and cut out the letters just inside the lines (to use as a mask).

Stamp Fall stamp in Plum on the left side of the decorated card stock. Place the cut out pieces of the Fall stamp over the stamped image masking off the letters of the stamp.

Using the leaf stamps and the Creole Spice ink pad, stamp the images as shown, stamping over the edges and masked areas. Remove the masking pieces and color the letters if desired.

Attach to note card with glue or double stick tape.
