Stamp Penelope slightly below center and tilted left onto a half sheet (trim ¼" to ½" from top and 1 side) of white matte coated card stock using Ranger Archival Jet Black. Let dry or use heat gun to speed drying process. Stamp Penelope again on plain paper and cut out image to use as a mask. Using a sheet of plain paper as a mask, mask the top 2/3 of scene at an angle and lined up with the bottom edge of Penelope. With the mask in place, use a cosmetic sponge as an applicator and dab on Fresco ink in colors Medici Marble, Botticelli Blush and Tuscan earth. This is the background for the brick wall. Remove mask and when ink is dry, place the mask on the bottom third of scene to mask the area you just colored. Place the Penelope mask on the Penelope image in the scene. Sponge on background with Fresco inks in Lavender Bloom, Vesuvian Ash, Botticelli Blush and Medici Marble. Spray with matte sealer. Leave masks in place and stamp Rocky Peaks in Rueberry. Ink up the Oak Branch stamp with Sage, Hunter Green and Pine. Stamp two or three times off the edge of the scene, reinking after each stamping. Stamp Balloons in Rueberry. Spray with matte sealer. Remove masks and mask off the top section again and stamp bricks with Plum. Lightly pat stamped bricks with anti static pillow. Color the balloons with chalk and the hat with colored pencils. Spray with matte sealer. Stamp Butterfly on a scrap of white glossy with Jet Black. When dry,
color with a yellow marker and cut out the image. Place as desired onto
scene. Adhere to half fold black glossy card. |
