Birth of Venus
Stamps:
Birth of Venus by Meer Image
Moon stamp by Non Sequitur (this stamp is from an unmounted plate)
Create the background piece using the Marvy
Metallic Markers technique (option #2) on the techniques
page. I used a full sheet of 8-1/2" x 11" black glossy for
this piece.
Stamp the Venus image on tissue paper. Cut out the image.
Stamp the moon several times on tissue paper. Using jar lids or other
round objects of various sizes, trace smaller circles on some of the
moons and cut out the images.
Brush glue onto the back of the cut out Venus image and position onto
the background piece.
Brush glue onto the back of the cut out moons, one at a time, and position
onto the background piece.
Color the moons with colored pencils to hi-light and blend using the
OMS
technique on the techniques
page.
Spray with sealer. If desired, trim 1/4" from edges and mount onto
black glossy card stock before framing.
